Ingredients

  • 25 g iner, peeled and rated
  • 700 ml water
  • 700 g suar
  • 250 ml tea, black, fresh
  • 500 ml apple juice, clear
  • 1 lemon (s), organic, squeezed and the peel cut into thin strips
  • 1 ¼ liter mineral water, strongly carbonated

Instructions

  1. Bring the ginger to the boil with 700 ml of water, then let it simmer for 30 minutes. Let cool and sieve the ginger.
  2. Bring the sugar with the ginger stock to the boil and let it boil gently for 10 minutes. Then cover and let cool down a bit. Add 1 liter of freshly boiled water to the syrup. Pour into a glass bottle while it is still warm. This syrup can be kept even without cooling due to the high sugar content.
  3. Preparation of the lemonade:
  4. Mix the freshly made tea with the lemon peel while it is still hot, then let it cool down. Mix the tea with the apple juice, lemon juice and about 100 ml ginger syrup. Finally, fill up with well-chilled mineral water - possibly cool with ice cubes.
