Ginger-citrus Tea

Instructions

  1. Boil the water together with the sugar until the sugar has completely dissolved. Depending on your taste, you can of course use more or less sugar.
  2. Meanwhile, scrape off the peel of the ginger with a teaspoon. This way you don`t lose too much of the ginger and you don`t accidentally cut yourself.
  3. Now rub the ginger completely with a grater. Let the grated ginger boil with the sugar water for 10 minutes. If necessary, boil the end pieces of ginger that could no longer be grated and simply fish them out at the end.
  4. Rub the peel of the lemon, squeeze the juice of the lemon and oranges. Add the juice and zest to the boiling ginger water and cook briefly.
  5. This drink tastes hot and cold. A real vitamin bomb, especially in winter!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
