Ingredients

  • 300 g iner
  • 6 lemon (s), organic
  • 500 g honey
  • 1 liter water
Ginger Lemon Syrup
Ginger Lemon Syrup

Instructions

  1. Cut the peeled ginger into small pieces and place in a saucepan with the water. Halve the lemons and add. Bring to a boil, then turn the temperature down and simmer for about 5 minutes. Now take out the lemon halves and squeeze. Pour in lemon juice and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  2. Sieve the ginger and let everything cool down. Now add honey first (if the honey is cooked it loses its vitamins and healing properties - so be patient).
  3. Fill the ready-made syrup into prepared bottles (I fill the syrup into swing-top bottles, but it can also be filled into any container).
  4. This syrup can be mixed with cold or hot water, it also tastes very good with black tea or sparkling wine.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
