Ingredients

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, fresher
  • 2 onions)
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 250 ml broth
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Clean fresh Brussels sprouts and cut in half (you do not need to scratch the stalk here). Peel and finely chop the onions.
  2. Heat the butter and fry the onions until translucent, add the halved Brussels sprouts and fry until some of the florets begin to brown. Deglaze with the broth. Simmer gently until the broth has boiled down. Sprinkle with sugar and glaze.
