  • Flour – 140 Grams
  • Cocoa – 65 Grams
  • Butter – 85 Grams
  • Salt and Baking Powder – 1 Pinch
  • Sugar – 1 Glass (you can take white and brown in half)
  • Egg – 2 Pieces
  • Kefir – 150 Milliliters
  • Vanilla extract – 1 Teaspoon
  • Water – 40 Milliliters (glaze)
  • Cocoa – 20 Grams (glaze)
  • Butter – 110 Grams (glaze)
  • Chocolate – 150 grams (glaze)
  • Powdered sugar – 1 Tbsp. spoon (glaze)

Glazed Chocolate Cake Instructions

  1. First you need to do the test.

  2. Combine both types of sugar with softened butter, whisk.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Separately combine flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Stir and add dry ingredients.
  5. Pour in kefir and mix everything so that the dough is homogeneous and without lumps.
  6. Divide the dough in half, pour each portion into a greased, floured or parchment-lined baking dish. Send the cake to bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  7. To prepare the glaze, pour hot cocoa water over and stir.
  8. Beat butter with icing sugar until fluffy. Melt the chocolate in a water bath.
  9. Combine all ingredients together and whisk
  10. Place some of the glaze on the cake base, spread in an even layer.

  11. Gently place the second layer on top and cover the cake with icing on all sides.
  12. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on the icing chocolate cake, if desired.
