Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and some butter together in a large pan or wok. Add the gnocchi and fry until golden and crispy for about 5 minutes. Place the gnocchi on a plate (so that the sauce doesn`t make them mushy).
  2. Peel the carrots and cut into thin slices. Wash the broccoli and cut into small pieces. Now let a little butter and oil get hot again in the (now empty) pan and fry the carrots and broccoli. Sprinkle a pinch of sugar on top (this will keep the color of the vegetables nice and sugar serves as a natural flavor enhancer).
  3. Now pour the cream on, add the freshly grated ginger, stir in 1 tablespoon of liquid honey and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes to reduce the sauce a little.
  4. Finally fold in the gnocchi, let it warm up briefly and serve. Salmon goes well with it, if you want a non-vegetarian variant.
