Goat Cheese Sandwiches

Baguette croutons are served with goat cheese, boiled beets, orange wedges, and mint.
Ingredients
- Soft goat cheese – 400 g
- Pickled or ordinary boiled beets – 200 g
- Orange – 1 pc.
- Baguette – 1 pc.
- Olive oil – for greasing toasts
- Salt to taste
- Fresh mint, leaves – for serving
Directions
- Cut the baguette into 0.5 cm slices. Grease the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Place the baking sheet with the baguette slices in the preheated oven for 15 minutes (until golden brown).
- Remove the bread from the oven and let cool. Meanwhile, peel and chop the beets on a coarse grater. Salt, stir (if the beets are pickled, then this step can be omitted). Peel the orange, divide into wedges, remove the foil.
- Apply a thin layer of goat cheese on the croutons, top with beets, half an orange slice, and decorate with a mint leaf.
