Goat Cheese Sandwiches Ingredients

  • Soft goat cheese – 400 g
  • Pickled or ordinary boiled beets – 200 g
  • Orange – 1 pc.
  • Baguette – 1 pc.
  • Olive oil – for greasing toasts
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh mint, leaves – for serving

  1. Cut the baguette into 0.5 cm slices. Grease the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Place the baking sheet with the baguette slices in the preheated oven for 15 minutes (until golden brown).
  3. Remove the bread from the oven and let cool. Meanwhile, peel and chop the beets on a coarse grater. Salt, stir (if the beets are pickled, then this step can be omitted). Peel the orange, divide into wedges, remove the foil.
  4. Apply a thin layer of goat cheese on the croutons, top with beets, half an orange slice, and decorate with a mint leaf.
