Ingredients

  • 2 large fish fillet (s) (herring fillets)
  • 200 g cheese (youn Gouda)
  • 250 g potato (s), boiled
  • 1 pickle (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 tomato (s)
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, hotter
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Dice the matjes (water them if necessary), Gouda cheese, potatoes, cucumber, onions and tomatoes, chop the capers. Mix everything. Prepare the marinade from the remaining ingredients, pour over the salad and let it steep. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
