Ingredients

  • 600 g oulash, half and half
  • 375 g onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 150 grams bacon
  • 1 bunch soup greens
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 carrot (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 point tomato puree
  • 1 liter beef broth (alternatively poultry broth), preferably self-cooked
  • 3 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • 1 glass red wine
  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil, fry the meat well (preferably in portions so that enough roasted substances are formed). Take out of the pot and keep warm.
  2. Peel and dice the onion and fry in the remaining frying fat together with the bacon cut into strips. Wash, peel and dice the soup greens. Add it and fry it. Peel and dice the garlic, add. Peel, dice and add the carrots. Let everything stew together for a few minutes.
  3. Now add the meat again and salt and pepper everything.
  4. Pour in the tomato puree and stock, refine with paprika powder, sugar and red wine and let everything stew for 2-2.5 hours on a low heat.
  5. After about 2 hours add the chopped peppers and cook everything to the end.
  6. Season to taste as spicy and serve.
