Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into cubes. Sprinkle with the spices and let soak for about 30 minutes.
  2. Fry vigorously in olive oil. Cut the onions, peppers, garlic and chilli into large pieces. When the meat is brown all over, add and sauté. Deglaze with hot water.
  3. Let simmer for 2-3 hours (depending on the quality of the meat). Check the fluid level in between. At the end of the cooking time, the liquid should have evaporated enough that a creamy sauce has formed.
  4. Add the cranberries and bring to the boil again briefly. Tastes great with boiled potatoes with red cabbage.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
