Ingredients
1.5 tablespoon. long-grain or basmati rice
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Pinch of cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 tbsp (15 g) butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon. water
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Directions
In a medium saucepan, heat, stirring occasionally, over low heat for 30 seconds. turmeric, cumin, and cinnamon until aroma appears.
Add water, salt, and butter and bring to a boil. Add rice and stir well.
Place a lid on the saucepan and reduce heat to very low. Cook, cover, and not stirring until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender for about 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand, without removing the lid or stirring, for 10 minutes.
