Ingredients

  • 500 g beans, reen
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 750 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some meat broth, or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Wash the beans and cut into 2-3 cm pieces.
  2. Melt the butter in the pan, sweat the flour. Carefully fill up with milk, always stirring vigorously so that there are no lumps. Put the beans in the white sauce and cook for about 60 minutes until soft. Season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg and, if desired, meat or vegetable broth. Lengthen or thicken the sauce to taste.
