Instructions

  1. Drain the sour cherries in a colander. Let the chocolate slowly melt in a bowl in a water bath (do not boil or let it get too hot). Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. Mix the butter, sugar and egg yolks together until frothy. Gradually stir in the remaining ingredients without the cherries. Now stir in the liquid chocolate. Finally, carefully fold in the egg whites.
  3. Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet. Now distribute the drained cherries on the dough and press in. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 45 minutes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
