Ingredients

  • 3 kg tomato (s), cut in half
  • 3 kg bell pepper (s), yellow, clean and quarter
  • 3 onion (s), clean and dice
  • 10 clove (s)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • salt and pepper
  • Chili powder

Instructions

  1. Reduce the pepper pieces, the tomato halves and the chopped onions without adding any liquid, then strain and bring to the boil mixed with the vinegar and spices.
  2. Pour the sauce boiling hot into preheated, clean preserving jars and seal. Store in a cool, dark place.
  3. Sufficient for 24 preserving jars of 250 ml each.
  4. A slightly different gift idea for Christmas or simply as a small souvenir.
