Ingredients

  • 5 jacket potato (s) from the previous day
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Maggi
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, medium hot
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the cold potatoes and grate with a hole grater (the grater I use has holes just under 2 mm in diameter).
  2. Mix the salad dressing made from vinegar, oil, maggi, mustard, salt and pepper in an extra bowl. Mix well and then pour over the grated potatoes and fold in evenly.
  3. Let the salad stand for about 30 minutes. Stir in between and, if necessary, add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Suitable as a side dish for all dishes where a normal potato salad is also good. Quick and easy to prepare, tastes good and always arrives.
  5. Note: This special kind of potato salad is a leftovers true to the motto of the Swabians: Nothing comes around.
  6. Tip: You should really use jacket potatoes from the day before in the recipe or boil them the day before, as this has an influence on the taste.
