Ingredients

  • 125 g rice
  • salt
  • 0.5 can ½ pineapple, in rings or pieces
  • 10 slices ham, cooked
  • 125 g crème fraîche
  • 150 g processed cheese
  • 100 ml poultry broth
  • salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), rated

Instructions

  1. Cook or soak rice in salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Cut the pineapple into pieces and fold into the rice.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Spread the rice and pineapple mixture on the ham slices, roll up the slices and place in a buttered casserole dish. Mix the crème fraiche with the processed cheese and the broth and season with the spices. Pour the sauce over the ham rolls, sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for about 20 minutes.
  4. With the quantities per person, it`s a bit difficult with such a recipe. For four, that`s actually very little, unless it is intended as a snack or there is something to go with it. E.g. salad and / or baguette.
