Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 125 g mozzarella
  • 2 cans tomatoes, chunky
  • 1 bag / s cheese, grated, approx. 200 g
  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 125 g low-fat quark
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the minced meat, low-fat quark, half an onion and half a clove of garlic to a homogeneous mass and season with salt and pepper. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes (approx. 20 pieces), shape the minced meat into small balls and add a cube of mozzarella to each. Fry briefly.
  2. Mix the chopped tomatoes, sambal oelek and the rest of the onion and garlic clove, season with salt and pepper to taste and place halfway in a baking dish. Add the meatballs and pour the rest of the tomato sauce on top. Scatter the cheese on top.
  3. Place in the hot oven at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes.
