Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 500 g minced meat (preferably lamb, otherwise mixed)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ thyme, dried
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ oregano, dried
  • 200 ml white wine, dry
  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 250 g sheep cheese
  • 250 ml cream
  • some fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a pan and sweat the onion with the garlic in it. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, paprika powder, thyme and oregano. Pour in the wine and simmer a little.
  3. Peel the potatoes and cut them into very thin slices (I always do this with a grater). Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Grease a baking dish. Cut the sheep`s cheese into small cubes.
  4. Layer a layer of potatoes in the baking dish, place a layer of minced meat and sheep cheese on top and repeat the process. Finish with sheep`s cheese. Season the cream with salt, pepper and paprika powder and pour over it. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
