Instructions

  1. Clean the asparagus and cook in a little water with the addition of sugar, salt and butter until al dente.
  2. In the meantime, toast the toast.
  3. Place two slices each in a small baking dish. (So use two small casserole dishes when preparing for two people, if you don`t have one, you can do everything in one big one, but that`s better for me).
  4. Season the finished sauce with a little lemon juice.
  5. When the asparagus is done, drain. Divide into two portions. Place two slices of boiled ham on top of each other and place the asparagus in the middle. Pour a little of the sauce over the asparagus. Then roll up the boiled ham on the sides and place this asparagus and ham roll on the two slices of toast. Now distribute the rest of the sauce evenly between the two portions. Then place a slice of Gouda cheese over the whole thing and finally sprinkle with some grated cheese.
  6. Then bake the forms on a grid on the middle rack at 190 ° (convection) for 15 minutes in the oven (preheat).
  7. Goes well with a green salad or lamb`s lettuce with a sweet and sour lemon dressing.
