Ingredients

  • 300 g reen beans, youn, frozen
  • 250 ml water (bean boiling water)
  • 1 sprig savory, fresh or /4 teaspoon dried
  • 40 g bacon, fat
  • 1 small onion (s), white
  • 20 g wheat flour
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the green beans with the fresh or dried savory and salt according to the instructions on the packet. Then drain the beans in a sieve, catching the vegetable water and measuring 250 ml of it. Put aside.
  2. Cut the bacon into cubes and leave out. Clean and dice the onion and let it simmer until golden in the left bacon. Now dust the flour over it, use the whisk to add the vegetable water you have set aside and bring to the boil. Season the bacon sauce with salt and pepper and mix with the beans.
