Green Beans Stewed with Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil – 1/3 Cup
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Garlic – 45 Grams
  • Lebanese Spice Blend – 2 Teaspoons
  • Green Beans – 350 Grams
  • Tomatoes – 260 Grams
  • Tomato paste – 1 tablespoon the spoon
  • Salt – 0.5-1 Teaspoons
  • Parsley – To taste

Directions

  1. Peel and finely chop a large onion, chop the garlic cloves with a knife. Heat olive oil in a saucepan, add garlic and onion, fry for a few minutes and add Lebanese spices, then green beans.
  2. In the meantime, wash and cut the tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the pot. There – tomato paste, salt. Reduce heat and cover pan, cook for about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Open the lid and increase the heat to allow the collected liquid to boil a little, then turn off the heat.
  4. Serve warm, garnish with chopped parsley, or after cooling.
