Ingredients

  • 250 g reen spelled
  • 0.5 liter ½ vegetable stock
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 300 g apples
  • 200 g onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, ground
  • 200 g Gouda cheese, rated
  • 1 cup sweet cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the green spelled in the vegetable stock for approx. 20 - 30 minutes until al dente.
  2. Dice the onions and apples and sauté them in the sunflower oil. Add the sauerkraut and sauté. Season with caraway seeds and mix in the cooked green spelled.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and pour the cream over it. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
  4. Bake in a hot oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 20 - 30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
