Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ cinnamon stick (s)
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 8 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 ½ bunch mint, fresh
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), red
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 600 g lamb salmon
  • 8 apricot (s)
  • Sea salt and pepper, whiter

Instructions

  1. Mortar the cinnamon stick and cumin. Finely chop the mint and chilli pepper. Peel and slice the garlic. Mix everything with the oil. Cut the meat into cubes, mix with the marinade and marinate for at least 4 hours, or better overnight.
  2. Halve and core the apricots. Take the meat out of the marinade and place alternately with the apricots on kebab skewers. Grill the skewers for 6-10 minutes while turning.
  3. Alternatively, you can fry the skewers in the pan. For this, fry the skewers briefly (1 - 2 minutes each) and vigorously on both sides. Then place on a plate and cook in a preheated oven at 80 ° C for another 15 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the skewers with sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
  5. As an alternative to apricots, you can also use fresh figs.
