Ingredients

  • g 1,000 meat, yros slices) frozen or from the meat counter
  • 250 g pasta, (e.. penne)
  • 500 g tomato (s), passed
  • 400 g cream
  • 400 g processed cheese
  • 1 can / s mushrooms, fresh ones also work
  • 1 packet cheese (grated cheese, e.g. Emmentaler, Gouda or Edam)

Instructions

  1. Spread the raw gyros meat and uncooked noodles as well as the drained mushrooms in a flat baking dish (I`ll use a rectangular one, about 30x20cm). Bring the tomatoes, cream and processed cheese to the boil briefly. Then distribute evenly over the gyros-noodle-mushroom mixture. Cook at 200 degrees in a preheated oven for 50 minutes and then sprinkle the grated cheese over it. Then again in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese has formed a nice crust.
