- 500 g yros meat
- 2 bell pepper (s)
- 200 ml cream
- 200 g sour cream
- 4 tablespoon Metaxa
- salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoon tomato paste
- some sugar
- 200 g cheese, rated
- 1 onion (s)
- Paprika powder, noble sweet
- oil
- 1 clove (s) garlic, crushed

- Fry the gyros meat in hot oil. Cut the onion and peppers into cubes. Add the onion, bell pepper and the crushed garlic clove to the meat and fry briefly.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika powder and a little sugar. Then add sour cream, cream, tomato paste and metaxa and let everything simmer briefly.
- Put the meat mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C (top / bottom heat) for about 20 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Rice or French fries with salad go well with this.
