Ingredients

  • 500 g pork, sliced and seasoned (yros)
  • 250 g spaetzle
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • clove Garlic (s) to taste
  • Cheese, grated, for gratinating

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaetzle in boiling water for 5-7 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Fry the onion and pork for 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic to taste and fry for 30 seconds. Add the chopped bell pepper and fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are softened and the pork is heated through.
  3. In a baking dish, layer the cooked spaetzle with the pork and vegetable mixture. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream and cream, then pour over the casserole. Sprinkle the cheese over the top. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.
