Ham and Cheese Appetizer with Horseradish Sauce

by Editorial Staff

A ham and cheese appetizer with horseradish sauce is an absolutely simple, but incredibly tasty appetizer for a festive table!

Cook: 15 mins

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Ham – 4 slices
  • Hard cheese – 4 slices
  • Fresh cucumber – 50 g
  • Horseradish – 1 tablespoon.
  • Apple – 50 g
  • Mayonnaise -1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Before preparing the ham and cheese appetizer with horseradish sauce, prepare all the foods on the list. A small piece of horseradish root is well washed and cleaned. If you want to slightly reduce the pungency, fill with cold water and refrigerate for about 6. You can grind horseradish on a grater, in a blender or through a meat grinder. Do not forget to protect the mucous membranes of the nose and eyes from the pungent odor.
  2. Peel the apple and remove the seedbox. Peel the cucumber as well.
  3. Grate cucumber on a medium grater, squeeze out the liquid from it. Place the cucumber in a bowl. Grate the apple and add to the cucumber.
  4. Layout the mayonnaise and horseradish.
  5. Add salt and black pepper.
  6. Cover the slice of ham with the slice of cheese.
  7. Roll cheese with ham into a triangle.
  8. Fasten the edges of the triangle with a toothpick to make a cornet. Do this with all the ham and cheese slices.
  9. Fill the ham and cheese cornets with the filling.
  10. A ham snack with horseradish sauce will decorate your holiday table.

Bon Appetit!
