Ingredients

  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 small egg (s)
  • 20 g tomato paste
  • 25 g shallot (s)
  • 5 slices cooked ham
  • 500 g tomato (s), sieved
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • 100 g Emmentaler, rated
  • Lovage
  • Herbs (7-herb mixture, frozen)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Cut the shallots into small cubes and set aside.
  2. Mix the minced meat with the egg, tomato paste and about half of the onion cubes in a bowl. Shape the mince into 5 balls of the same size.
  3. Place one slice of the cooked ham on a board. Shape a meatball into an elongated sausage and place it in the center of the slice, then wrap it in the ham. Now place these rolls in a baking dish with the seam facing down.
  4. Heat the oil in a small saucepan. Fry the remaining cubed shallots until they are translucent. Then add the garlic. Fry the garlic briefly and then deglaze with the tomatoes. Add the herbs, bring the tomato sauce to the boil and season or season to taste.
  5. Pour the finished tomato sauce over the ham and minced meat rolls and sprinkle with 100 g grated Emmentaler.
  6. The rolls come in the oven at 170 ° C top / bottom heat for about 30 minutes or until the desired tan.
