Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ vegetable onion (s) or 1 mild onion
  • 3 medium clove garlic (s)
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 150 g peas, frozen
  • 1 cup sour cream, 200 ml each
  • 1 cup whipped cream, 200 ml each
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped sugar, brown
  • 1 pinch nutmeg, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the onion and sauté in oil or butter. Glaze the onion with the brown sugar. Add the frozen peas and bring to the boil with a cup of water. Turn down the temperature. Press the garlic and add it. Cut the ham into pieces and add it as well. Let everything simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Season the ingredients with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in the sour cream, add the whipped cream and bring to the boil. Then turn back the temperature, let the sauce simmer for another five minutes and season to taste again.
