Ingredients

  • 400 g noodles (fussili, croissants, etc.)
  • 1 onion (s), very finely diced
  • 2 carrot (s), very finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 slices ham, cooked, very finely diced
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 350 ml milk
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Garlic granules, (fresher if desired)
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • possibly cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until cooked.
  2. Put the oil in a pan and sauté the diced onions and carrots in it for a few minutes. Then add the diced ham. After a few minutes add the milk and cream and stir the tomato paste into the sauce. Let simmer for a few minutes. Season well with salt, pepper, garlic and a pinch of sugar.
  3. If the sauce is too runny: Mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with water and stir slowly in the simmering sauce until the desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Divide the pasta on plates and pour the sauce over the pasta.
