  • 18 slices ham (toasted ham)
  • 12 slices cheese (toast cheese)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a breading station: whisk the 2 eggs in one shallow bowl and place breadcrumbs in another.
  2. Layer ham and cheese into 6 stacks: for each, alternate 1 ham, 1 cheese, 1 ham, 1 cheese, 1 ham. Cut each stack diagonally to make 12 triangles total.
  3. Dip each triangle into whisked egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat clarified butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry triangles 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot or let cool completely and serve cold.
