  • 16 slices cheese (toast cheese)
  • 2 egg (s)
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Sauce (garlic sauce), side dish

  • Sauce (tartare sauce), side dish

Instructions

  1. Place 1 slice of toasted cheese per Mozartlocke on 1 slice of toasted ham and roll up (diameter approx. 2 - 2.5 cm).
  2. Beat the eggs with a fork, turn the ham rolls in the flour, pull them through the egg mixture, then roll them in the breadcrumbs and press down lightly. Now again in the egg mixture and again in the breadcrumbs; Make sure that the ends are also properly breaded (if necessary dip the ends a third time!).
  3. Fry the rolls either in the deep fryer or in plenty of hot fat all around the sides until they are nice and brown.
  4. Serve 4 ham and cheese rolls per person. As a side dish, sauces such as garlic sauce, curry sauce, tartare sauce and salad.
