Ham, Tomato and Cheese Sandwich

Ham (sliced) – 300 g
Medium tomatoes (cut into slices) – 2 pcs.
Italian baguette or ciabatta (cut in half lengthwise) – 1 pc.
Gorgonzola cheese (cut into small pieces) – 0.25 cup
Fig jam – 0.25 cup
Arugula (arugula) leaves – 1 1/2 cups

How to make a ham and cheese sandwich:

Instructions

Place the tomato slices on paper towels for 5 minutes to absorb excess moisture.
Spread the fig jam on the cut side of one bread half.
Layer the arugula leaves over the fig jam.
Layer the ham slices on top of the arugula.
Layer the tomato slices on top of the ham.
Spread the Gorgonzola pieces over the cut side of the other bread half.
Press the two bread halves together to close the sandwich.
Cut the sandwich into 6 pieces and serve immediately.
