Hawaiian Rice

Today I will tell you about a recipe for how to cook rice with a Hawaiian mixture, which will be an excellent side dish for meat, fish, or maybe an independent dish. It can even be prepared for a festive table.

Ingredients

  • Rice – 200 Grams
  • Green peas – 50 Grams
  • Green Beans – 50 Grams
  • Broccoli – 100 Grams
  • Carrot – 1 Piece
  • Canned Corn – 400 Grams
  • Seedling onion – 10 Pieces (small)
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Olive Oil – To taste
  • Salt and Spices – To taste

Directions

  1. I put the wok on the fire, pour in the olive oil. I peel the cloves of garlic and cut into large pieces, send them to the pan.
  2. I peel small onions and carrots, mine. I cut the carrots into medium-sized pieces, and leave the onions as they are, send the vegetables to the wok.
  3. As soon as the vegetables have become soft, salt and add spices to taste (black pepper, mint, savory, basil, oregano).
  4. I have frozen peas and green beans, add them to the pan and fry for five minutes.I drain the water from the canned corn and send the contents of the can to the pan to the rest of the vegetables, stir and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour in broccoli inflorescences and cook for another 6 minutes, pour in ½ cup boiling water, turn on low heat and cook under a closed lid for about 10-15 minutes until all vegetables are soft.
  6. Boil the rice in salted water with the addition of olive oil until cooked, add the rice to the wok to the vegetables and mix, heat it for 10 minutes over low heat.
  7. Serve cooked rice with Hawaiian mixture hot,
