Instructions

  1. Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and the eggs until frothy. First mix the remaining ingredients apart from the milk and then stir into the butter, sugar and egg mixture. Add enough milk (approx. 1/8 l) until the dough is easy to flow. Bake the dough in portions in the waffle iron, then dust with powdered sugar.
  2. The amount makes about 8 waffles.
  3. These waffles also go well with nut or cinnamon ice cream, sour cherry compote, plum jam, whipped cream or sour cream.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
