Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 175 g suar, finer
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coffee powder, instant
  • 100 g hazelnuts, round
  • 25 hazelnuts, whole

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites with lemon juice until very stiff. Slowly pour in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Sieve the coffee powder and fold in with the ground hazelnuts.
  2. Use two teaspoons to put small piles of the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Decorate each with a whole hazelnut.
  3. Leave to dry in the oven (electric stove: 100 degrees - gas stove: level 1) for about 1.5 hours.
