Ingredients

  • 400 g herrin fillet (s), Frisian style, finely diced
  • 150 g pickled cucumber (s), diced and patted dry with kitchen paper
  • 2 small apples, tart, diced into small pieces
  • 150 g pearl onions, diced and patted dry with paper towels
  • 3 shallot (s), diced into small pieces
  • 6 large egg (s), hard-boiled and diced into small pieces
  • 1 bunch dill, chopped
  • some mayonnaise to bind the ingredients
  • Salt and pepper, white, finely ground
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet

Instructions

  1. As I already wrote in the list of ingredients, it is very important, just for the eyes, to chop the ingredients into small pieces.
  2. Put the first six ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and sprinkle the freshly chopped dill on top. Mix the ingredients together and add the three spices to your taste. If the salad is seasoned to your liking, bind it with a little mayonnaise until it forms an even, homogeneous mass.
  3. Before you serve the hackers, they should stay in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. This allows the flavors of the ingredients to be evenly distributed.
  4. In addition, rich rolls, sandwiches or baguettes.
