Ingredients

  • 2 bunch soup greens, (carrot-celery-parsley-leek)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon oil, (safflower oil)
  • 1 bulb garlic, Chinese red (or 5 cloves)
  • 1 large chilli pepper (s)
  • 2 slices jerky meat, (smoked belly )
  • 1 glass beef broth, 350ml
  • Vegetable broth, 1 - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. The soup greens - consisting of 2 carrots, 2 celery slices and 2 small. Wash, peel and cut the leek sticks. Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Core and cut the chilli pepper. Cut the beef into fine strips.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the jerky meat and fry it, followed by the onion, garlic cubes and the chilli pepper. Now fill up with the bark broth. Now the celery and carrot cubes are added and cooked for about 10-15 minutes. Top up with a cup or two of vegetable broth as needed. Finally, add the leek strips. Let simmer for a few more minutes
  3. Actually, additional seasoning is not necessary.
  4. We serve fresh bread with it.
  5. If you like it as a filling soup, you can cut some potatoes with the carrots.
