Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork, lean, diced
  • 5 large onion (s), diced
  • 1 large white cabbage, .5-2 kg, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 300 g carrot (s), sliced
  • 750 g potato (s), peeled and rouhly diced
  • 1 piece (s) celeriac, large, cleaned and roughly chopped
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • vegetable broth
  • salt
  • pepper
  • some oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, fry the pork with the onions, add the sliced cabbage, carrots and potatoes, caraway seeds and celery tuber (if you like to eat celery, cut it into bite-sized pieces, everyone else fishes out coarse pieces at the end of the cooking time) until good Pour the broth in half the height of the meat and vegetable mixture and cook for about 1.5 hours.
