Ingredients

  • 8 fish fillet (s) (herring fillets)
  • 2 apples, red
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 pickled cucumber (s)
  • 6 tablespoon oil (linseed oil)
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon heavy cream
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • 1 bunch chives
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples, quarter them, remove the core, dice the pulp. Peel and dice the onion. Dice the pickles as well.
  2. Rinse the herring fillets with cold water, pat dry and cut into strips about 1 cm wide. Mix in a bowl with apples, onions and cucumber.
  3. Mix the cream, vinegar and linseed oil to a sauce, season with salt, pepper and sugar and mix with the salad.
  4. Wash the chives, spin dry and cut into rolls. Place the chives rolls over the salad.
  5. Jacket potatoes go well with it.
