Ingredients

  • 4 pork schnitzel
  • 800 g jacket potato (s)
  • 500 ml hollandaise sauce
  • 2 medium mushrooms, cut
  • 200 g cheese (rated Gouda cheese)
  • salt
  • Pepper, black
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the pork escalopes and fry them in the hot fat. Place in a higher baking dish.
  2. Drain the mushrooms, spread over the schnitzel and pour 250 ml of hollandaise sauce over them.
  3. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices and spread on top. Salt and pepper each layer. Then add the rest of the Hollondaise sauce and finally the grated Gouda cheese.
  4. Cover and cook at 200 degrees for 45 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for about another 15 minutes until the cheese has a nice color.
  5. Tip: Also tastes good with fresh mushrooms that you braise a little beforehand with a diced onion.
