Delicious light-salted herring at home. Making a great fresh frozen herring snack is quick and easy.
Ingredients
Fresh frozen herring – 2 pcs.
Red onion – 2 pcs.
Carrots – 1 pc.
Homemade sunflower oil – 150 ml
Mustard beans – 1-2 teaspoon
Salt – 1-2 teaspoon.
Sugar – 0.5-1 teaspoon.

Directions
Defrost the herring, but not completely. Cut off the head, remove the entrails, wash.
Cut the onions into rings, carrots into slices, herring into slices.
In a glass container, alternating, lay out in layers: onions, carrots, mustard, pepper, herring, salt, sugar
Fill with vegetable oil, close the container tightly and shake. Place the herring in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Ready homemade herring can be served at the table.
