Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillet (s) or redfish fillet
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs or 1 roll from the day before
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 100 grams flour
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 ml oil
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill

Instructions

  1. For the fish fingers, wash the fish fillets, pat dry and carefully check for bones. Season the fillets with salt and pepper and cut into thick strips. Grate the roll on a kitchen grater to fine crumbs. Beat the eggs in a large plate and whisk with a fork. Put the flour and the breadcrumbs each on a large plate. First roll the fish pieces in the flour, then pull them through the beaten egg and then turn them in the breadcrumbs.
  2. Heat the butter and oil in a pan and fry the fish fingers until golden brown on both sides. Put briefly on kitchen paper to degrease. Wash the lemon, dry it and cut it into thin slices. Serve the fish fingers with the mashed potatoes and garnish with the lemon wedges.
  3. Delicious with homemade mashed potatoes.
