Homemade Meatballs with Rice (in the oven)

The recipe for cooking meatballs in the oven using a frying pan. Homemade meatballs with rice are a dish for all times. The delicate taste of meatballs with aromatic sour cream-tomato sauce – you will definitely like it! It’s easy to cook them.

Ingredients
- Minced meat – 500 g
- Egg- 1 pc. Raw rice – 100 g
- Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
- Carrots- 1 pc.
- Sourcream – 1 tbsp
- Tomato paste – 1 tbsp
- Flour- 1 tbsp
- Voil- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste Sugar to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Garlic to taste
Directions
- Mix the minced meat with chopped onions, boil until half cooked and cooled rice. Also add egg, salt, pepper, and garlic – to taste. Mix and beat thoroughly.
- Form meatballs from minced meat. Lay on parchment with baking paper, bake meatballs with rice at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.
- For the sauce, fry the onions and carrots (grated on a coarse grater) in vegetable oil. Mix the tomato, sour cream, and flour, add boiled cold water. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and bring to the desired thickness, adding hot water. Keep on the stove for 5-7 minutes. You can pour baked meatballs with rice with tomato-sour cream sauce and bake for another 25 minutes in the oven. I put them in a skillet, cover, and simmer in the sauce for another 15-20 minutes.
- Done! You can serve meatballs with rice with any side dish to taste.
