Ingredients

  • 8 large peach (s) or 10 flat peaches
  • 2 liters water
  • sugar
  • 6 bags tea, black

Instructions

  1. Halve the peaches and remove the stone. This works best with ripe fruits.
  2. Roughly dice the pulp and place in a large saucepan. Fill the pot with 2-3 liters of water. Bring to the boil briefly and simmer for another half an hour over medium heat.
  3. Take the pot off the stove and hang up the tea bags. I also like to take decaffeinated black tea, then you can drink the iced tea well in the evening. After the steeping time, remove the tea bags and season to taste. Depending on how sweet the fruit is, add a little sugar. I often don`t need one because I don`t like it so cute.
  4. Drain the fruit and fill the tea in bottles. If you like, you can add a few pieces of peach to decorate it. Chill for about 5 hours.
