Ingredients

  • 1 handful peppermint (peppermint leaves)
  • 1 ½ liters boiling water
  • sugar
  • 100 ml lemon juice, fresh
  • Mineral water, medium or sparkling
  • Ice cubes
  • Citrus fruits in slices

Instructions

  1. Pour the boiling water over the fresh peppermint leaves and make a strong tea. The brewing time should be at least 10 minutes. Then remove the leaves.
  2. Add sugar to your taste while the tea is still hot, then it will dissolve better. Add the lemon juice and stir everything well. Let it cool down and then put it in the fridge.
  3. When the lemonade is nice and cold, add the ice cubes.
  4. If you want, you can cut citrus fruits into slices and add them to the lemonade, which makes it even more tasty. Fresh peppermint leaves also go well with the lemonade.
  5. Half of the lemonade is poured into glasses and mixed with mineral water.
  6. A delicious summer drink in hot temperatures.
