  • Pork – 1 kg
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Bay leaf – 5 pcs.
  • Ground pepper (pepper mix) – to taste
  • Salt to taste

  1. Rinse the pork under cold water and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels. Rub the entire surface with salt.
  2. Cut each of the 3 garlic cloves into several small pieces.
  3. Make small slits across the pork, then insert the garlic pieces into each slit.
  4. Sprinkle the pork evenly with ground pepper.
  5. Place a couple of the bay leaves on the bottom of a clean dish. Lay the pork on top, then arrange the remaining bay leaves around it.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with foil. Refrigerate the pork and let it marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
  7. Place the marinated pork, garlic pieces, and bay leaves into a roasting sleeve and transfer to a baking dish.
  8. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F). Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the pork piece.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
