Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon honey, liquid (forest honey)
  • 2 tablespoon ginger syrup
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, pressed through
  • 0.5 ½ cup vegetable broth (small cup)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, (zest)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the honey, ginger syrup and vegetable stock together until smooth. Stir in the chilli flakes, lemon zest and garlic. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  2. This sauce goes very well with grilled food, especially turkey or prawns.
  3. Tips: The sauce also tastes very good with orange zest. Let it stand for a day, then the sauce tastes even better.
