Ingredients

  • 200 g hops (hop cones, wild form)
  • 500 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 oranges, the finely grated zest them
  • 10 g citric acid
  • 500 ml water
  • 250 grams sugar

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a large saucepan and cook covered for 10 minutes. Pour the liquid into large, prepared twist-off glasses and leave to stand under vacuum for a week.
  2. Strain after a week and bring the syrup to the boil again. Fill everything again into the prepared twist-off glasses.
  3. Any amount of this syrup plus carbonated mineral water makes a fizzy hop soda.
