Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • 0.5 liter ½ cream
  • 100 ml brandy
  • 100 ml Grand Marnier or Cointreau
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 150 g suar, brown
  • 1 teaspoon orange (s) - peel, grated

Instructions

  1. Slowly bring the milk, cream, vanilla pod (scraped pulp plus pod itself) and orange peel to a boil. Beat egg yolks with sugar until frothy. Remove the saucepan from the hob and stir in the egg yolk mixture. Add the orange liqueur and brandy. No more cooking. Serve hot.
